They're back - the Salomon Turbo X Tough Trail Runs return for a second season with just as much mud, water and hills as before all topped by the daunting 'Turbo X' Zone.
The first Turbo X at Surrey Hills was a big success with a 1000 runners - despite May being a very dry month we still found enough mud to keep everyone happy.
The series continues in the autumn and winter with a return to Mugdock, the new venue near Sheffield - voted as the toughest run of the series -and a return to the sucking mud of Bordon.
We also return to Rivington in Lancs for the half marathon which takes in the famous Pike and some very managable trails around Yarrow and Angelzark Reservoirs - join us on 2 October for what promises to be a superb event.
Overseas we had a brillaint week at the Swiss Alpine Marathon and now looking forward to invading Cuba for the Trail Marathon in February followed the Great Gorilla Marathon in May at the Source of the Nile, Uganda - we're certainly not short on adventure....and look forward to seeing you at one of these brillaint events.
