CHICAGO ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED
Chicago is now one of the biggest marathons in the World and has developed a reputation as also being one of the best marathon experiences anywhere despite its colossal size - at around 40,000 runners.
With a start and finish in the wide spaces of Grant Park on the shores of Lake Michigan - this is where President Obama made his first speech after being elected as President - the logisitics are easy.
The route takes in much of the shoreline and the downtown areas with their massive and distinctive skyscrapers such as the Sears Building on the Magnificent Mile.
We have a limited number of guaranteed entry places which are available with a travel package only.

Hyatt Regency Hotel****
The hotel is located in downtown Chicago within McCormick Place Convention Center, with easy access to Michigan Avenue shopping, theatres, museums and nightlife and easy access to Grant Park for the race start and finish.
The hotel guest rooms are medium in size and beautifully appointed with dark wood furnishings and tan walls.
Bathrooms are marbled and decorated in tan/white colors. Rooms have all modern amenities as well as some have sweeping Chicago and Lake Michigan views from a spectacular setting along Chicago's lakefront.
The rooms offer one king or two plush double beds, deluxe bath with dual sinks, and generous work area featuring high-speed Internet access.
Deluxe amenities include coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, room service and concierge, individual heat/air conditioning control, enhanced work desk lighting, cable/satellite TV channels and windows that open. Connecting rooms are available.
