The 4th Lakeside Canal Run again starts and finishes at the famous Lakeside Centre a couple of weeks after the World Darts have taken place there - clearly a very different type of event to our multi-terrain run.
The 8 mile route takes runners out through Mytchett and Ash on a combination of forest paths and road and then returns along the Basingstoke Canal back to Deepcut with a few changes over last year to avoid the narrow path in Frimley Lodge Park.
The revised route will take you through the woods on the north side of the canal, emerging at the Canal Centre where you will turn left then right into Mitchett Lake Road and on to Frimley/Vale Road towards Ash Vale where you will cut onto the canal for the return run along the tow path.
