Brooklands Circuit |
Brooklands proved to be a futuristic venue for the first Brooklands 10km in 2008. The event was a bit too twisty and turny so we have redisgned it to take out a lot of the sharp bends but retained the character of the event with it's start on the historic Brabham Straight on the listed old Brooklands race circuit which then links into the super-modern circuit infront of the high tech Mercedes World building.
Mercedes have allowed us to come off the circuit onto perimeter roads this year so we don't have to squeeze 10km onto the closed circuit, but it will remain very flat and, with the exception of the short section of the old Brooklands circuit, on very smooth road surfaces.

Event Details:
Venue: Mercedes World, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey
Start time: 9.15am (9.00 for the U-15's Race)
Age limits: 15+ for the 10km, no lower limit for the 1,500m
Medals to all finishers
Prizes for first 5 men & women , first masters 40, 45, 50, 60+ in 10km/first 3 boys and girls in 1500m

Terms & Conditions:
Once your race entry is accepted either online, by post or over the telephone we are unable to make refunds. You may roll your entry over to another 2:09 Events race subject to space availability and paying any difference in entry fee. Roll over places must be requested in writing or by email at least 48hrs before the event - changes after this will count as no-show and we will be unable to change your entry.
