The staff at 2:09 Events have a long distinguished history in UK road running and we recognise that there are lots of events around the country that deserve worthy mention. 	21-02-2010	Sussex Beacon Half Marathon	We are pleased to announce that 2010 sees the 20th year of The Sussex Beacon Half Marathon. Started by the local running clubs of Brighton & Hove back in 1990 the event is now organised by The Sussex Beacon, a Brighton based clinical care centre for men and women living with HIV/ Aids. 	16-05-2010	Knowle Fun Run	This is the 26th year for this 5 Mile Fun Run and Mini Run, which sold out in 2008. The number of places for one of the Midlands biggest fund raisers has increased to 1900 and this year the Lions have nominated Macmillan Cancer Support, Whizz-Kidz and Lions campaign SightFirst II as the prime charities. 	11-09-2010	Three2Go Lee Valley Marathon & Hackney Marshes 5km	Three2go is the third Lee Valley trail marathon leading up to the 2012 Olympics. The Trail Marathon will take a point-to-point course alongside the stunning waterways of the River Lea between St Margarets in Hertfordshire and Hackney Marsh. 	26-09-2010	Great Gorilla Run	The Great Gorilla Run has become one of London's most famous events - 750 gorilla dressed runners running through the tourist attractions of the South Bank on a Saturday morning is some sight.
