PORTSWOOD / COMMODORE HOTEL 4*
The Portswood and Commodore Hotel is part of the same hotel group and are situated next door to each other.
With panoramic views of Table Bay and Table Mountain, it features an outdoor swimming pool and sauna, fitness and massage facilities. The Commodore’s air-conditioned rooms include free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a private bathroom. There is 24-hour room service and a 24-hour reception. Some rooms have a balcony providing views of the Atlantic or Table Mountain. Apart from a breakfast buffet, Clipper Restaurant serves an à la carte menu featuring seafood dishes and regional wines.
Guest rooms of The Portswood are decorated in a maritime style and offer air conditioning and satellite TV. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and some of them also have a bath. Thursday 17th October - Arrival in South Africa
Fly into Cape Town International Airport where you will make your way to your respective hotel. THere you can relax and recover from your flight.
Friday 18th October - Free Day
This is your chance to explore Cape Town and see all the sights around. It is a beautiful city with lots to do so use this day to take advantage of all it has to offer.
Saturday 19th October - Expo Day
Today is the day we recommend you head down to the EXPO to pick up all the race items you need for the race. The Start / Finish is the same place where the EXPO venue is so it is a good chance for you to see the start and end of the route in the process.
Sunday 20th October - Race Day
Today is the day of the race, get yourself ready and enjoy what you have come for. Please note the is a cut off time of 6h30.
Monday 21st October - Goodbye South Africa
Now you have run the race, it is time for you to head home bringing back your finisher's medal with you!
