The marathon course will take you through exquisite landscapes and heritage sites such as the Israeli Knesset, Yehuda Marketplace, Mount Scopus, the Old City, David's Tower, Haas Promenade and much more. It is a challenging, hilly route but a thrilling and unforgettable experience for all runners. If the marathon is not for you, you can test yourself in the half-marathon, 10K and 5K, which follow parts of the same course. With over 30,000 runners, the event is one of Israel’s largest running events with a growing field of international competitors. March is the perfect time to be in Israel, the weather is warm and sunny with low humidity.Â
Our four-night trip, which centres on the marathon, also gives you a chance to explore other areas of the city as well as venturing into he Judean desert and the Dead Sea the day after the marathon. You can also extend your trip to stay in Israel longer or combine it with a visit to neighbouring Jordan.
