Starting on the famous Champs Elysées by the Arc de Triomphe, Paris’s wide straight, relatively flat roads are perfect for running 26.2 miles in a company of thousands. The route itself takes in many of the city’s key sights and attractions, included the Place de la Concorde, Place de la Bastille, Pont Neuf, the Eiffel Tower and the Bois de Boulogne
Our trip to the Paris Marathon, which includes guaranteed entry to the 2026 race, is based on three nights’ accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis on the wonderful boutique hotel, Le 37 Bis, which is a 15-minute walk from the start near the Arc de Triomphe.
The 37 Bis Hotel
The 37 Bis 4* hotel, formerly the Hotel du Roule, is a hotel institution in Neuilly-sur-Seine. With just 34 rooms, most of which will be occupied by our group, Le 37 Bis is a small hotel but big on luxury. Its ammenities include spa facilities, a sauna, massage services, a bar, steam room and hammam.
Located on the city's most famous avenue, as an extension of its luxurious apartments, the 37 Bis hotel has been welcoming guests for over 100 years. Its location a few steps away from the Palais des Congrès and the Arc de Triomphe and in the immediate vicinity of the Jardin d'Acclimatation and the Louis Vuitton Foundation makes it an ideal address.
Located 22 km from Paris Orly Airport, the hotel is an 8-minute walk from Palais des Congrès de Paris and just over a kilometre from the Arc de Triomphe. Nearby attractions include the Eiffel Tower and Musée de l'Orangerie.
